A DIFFERENT PEACOCK

    Once in a forest, there was a peacock that was unique in general and had a distinctive attraction that made him different. On a clear day, an elephant strolling in the forest and then noticed a peacock alongside a lake. He came to the peacock and said,

"Your feathers are so beautiful, if I had your uniqueness I would have become a star here."

The peacock who listens to the elephant's words replied, "What is unique about me is that I am just a peacock born different than the rest."

Then a lion not far from the two of them, he heard the conversation and responded to the peacock's answer he said,

"Don't you realize that what you think is different is overtaking all the animals in here."

Then the peacock goes silent for a moment, why the peacock is so beloved when it is so different from the peacock in general. Then he said to the lion,

"You don't know, I get insulted a lot by other animals because my fur is different from normal peacocks. I regret that I was born an albino peacock. "The peacock said to the lion.

Elephants and lions are silent when the peacock says that, little did he know that peacock had been sorry for being born that way. The elephant feels sorry for the peacock, he goes over to the peacock and says,

"Peacocks you know, many of the peacocks out there envy your with different furry beauty, it's more beautiful than the common peacock, and it's one of the unique things that you have." said the elephant.

    After all, the peacock froze and he could not believe that what had become less of himself had become an attraction to others, and even other animals envied him because the kind of this peacock is rarely encountered. The lion approached the peacock who was speechless and answered,

"The peacock that you think you lack in yourself has become an attraction to other animals, you should be proud of this and not regret. So now you can neither regret nor sad being born this way because you are special in your own way." said the lion.

PASKIBRA COMPETITION EXPERIENCE

by Favika Khikmatul M (XI MIPA 2)            I will tell you about my experience following the Paskibra competition.      Previously, what did you think of when you heard the word Paskibra? Yeah Paskibra is an abbreviation of flag raising troops. But Paskibra doesn’t just fly the flag, there’s also a competition.      In a team usually consist of 16 people. Fifteen members and one squad leader. To form a sense of kinship, we practice every day. Besides practicing      every day will also increase the cohesiveness in the members.  In the Paskibra organization there is command term, namely “ KORSA”  which means command of one taste. Which means joy and sorrow must be  felt together. I feel lucky to be able to join this competition, because it is an  experience that cannot be repeated after graduating from high school.
